Miniature Moon
It is not the moon taken with a short focal length, but Venus!
In these days it appears as a crescent again, becoming thinner and thinner, until on March 25 it will pass the sun more than 8° above. Some days before it will be visible in the morning and in the evening (if you have a horizon completely free of haze and obstructive objects.

lower pic: 28 – 31 Ιούλιος 2015, 19:35 h EET +/- a few minutes (Lefkos, Karpathos, GR)

Unfortunately we had much haze on Karpathos so that the small series ended about 2 weeks before the passage of the sun and the quality is low. (I only posted it, because it was an observation in Greece.)
